While I think the training of AI off artists who very much don't want their styles and work stolen is bullshit, It is an incredible tool for conceptualization. As someone who can no longer sketch or paint but still enjoys writing, generating a character concept for my own reference is a life saver. I think that there are legitimate use cases for it, but like everything else it comes at the cost of someone else.
