Here’s how it’s going to go down. Companies will not lower prices due to automation, in fact, they will raise prices. They will blame inflation, the next war, or the next pandemic, and they will raise prices and squeeze every cent out of normal people. They will create another depression, which we will all have to suffer through for the next one or two decades until everyone is so poor and so sick and have nothing left to give. Only then will something get done if anything gets done. Realistically we have about five years before everything goes to shit. Good luck, everybody.
