My friend who is a professor at *YUBA COLLEGE* in Northern California and teaches in-person classes, they said there are more professors now who teach online courses and suspects they write their homework from AI prompts instead of writing it from their own experience. They learned of this when some of their students had to repeat the class and chose to in-person and those students explained the oddities of the online courses. They looked at some past homework assignments and they all read as if they were written by a bot. These "professors" are hard to get in contact with, taking 2 or 3 weeks to respond to a student and the responses were empty and soulless. In many cases you can't even find a photo of what they look like almost as if they arent real. I wonder how many other colleges have this problem. Ever since 2020 there are less and less professors teaching in-person and less students wanting to attend classes in-person. They said the whole campus is a ghost town anymore with exception to the technical courses like nursing, fire fighting and welding and machining. It's a kind of dystopia I don't think anyone predicted in science fiction.
