Honestly, for regular people, AI failing is a much better outcome. Because if AI succeed, we lose our job permanently (no one actually believes that those company stakeholders will be willing to pay enough taxes to allow universal income or socialistic system, right?). If AI fails, however, we get a recession, but it will recover over time and we even have a chance to be rid of the overwhelming influence of monopolistic corporations for a while…
