While I get what you say the pressures to counter that just don't exist while extractive deveybe it customers or just VC is there. And while some of us migh understand the implications it's hardly enough to move the needle. I think unless the money people won't realise the limitations of the tech and limitations of llms development and the bubble bursts naturally there's no chance to change the steamroller of current ai . Also ago in tech might stand for what's necessary it does have functional definitions
