I think it is an interesting way to give someone like me with no talent for the graphic arts an option to participate in pushing art forward by trying new ideas. You reference a version of this in your note about how artist currently leverage inspiration. I'm interested to see where AI will play a role in moving ideas forward and evolving them. Currently I mostly see them used to remix or make imitations of things that exist. Van Gogh may have had a color shift in his vision when he created his most heralded works, we may just be waiting for someone to look at this tool in a new way.
