This Video was amazing! I love that we have a way to safeguard images :) I imagine this will work with pictures of real faces too, not just drawings? Cos I’d happily use this all the time on selfies if it fights misbehaving AI companies :D I almost entirely agree. IMO every time an AI prompt includes a name, that person should at least get paid a commission by the AI company. I wouldn’t mind AI if it didn’t infringe copyright, and artists had consented to give their art to an AI data set. Massive shame the way AI’s power is being abused currently. At present its negative effects far outweigh its positives, sadly I agree. AI should stick to detecting tumours. I know in film, AI is becoming an appealing tool because it’s getting more realistic, and cheaper than expensive CGI. So I understand people wanting to use it in lower budget productions. They’re not trying to make life hollow, just trying to cut costs. Humans are always needed for originality as you said. AI can only mimic, it cannot be original. Have you seen anime rock paper scissors 2 by Coriddoor crew? They set a good example of what to do. They payed artists such as Josh Newland to make unique anime style art so an AI could turn Coriddoor crews film into an anime. Kind of like a snapchat filter but better. The artists they hired were totally cool with it and everything! Not disagreeing with you, I just like the possibility of a future where Artists and AI can co-exist. I hope these lawsuits hit AI companies hard and they actually begin behaving themselves and use their power responsibly. I think AI is a tool, like a knife, can be very useful or very harmful. Depends whose hands it’s in.
