I guess we need to pass laws so that home owners have to go through a lengthy process to sell their houses safely now. I hope those companies get sued into the ground, and the victims get some compensation. Deep fake porn isn't a problem. The problem is that people are giving it too much attention. We're not talking about sexual assault, or leaked sex tapes. This is a small amount of people copying heads on top of other people's bodies. The only sexual touching it consensual. If you don't want your image online where it can be manipulated into anyone's "art work", then don't put yourself on here. Regulate yourself. The internet needs less regulation in order to stay open, and free from government oppression. Also those TikTok hearings were necessary. TikTok is a malicious app that literally spies on everyone, and our government made the right decision to, at the very least, ban it from government devices. Data collecting is already bad enough, and TikTok took it a step even further by requiring full access to your device so that it can record everything you do on your device, including what you type, and what you do on other apps. It even tracks your location history, and we all know that it's being used by the Chinese Communist Party, just like we all knew that covid came from a lab in Wuhan. Let's also not turn a blind eye to the fact that Philip DeFranco has stake in TikTok because he uses it to run his shitty, opinionated news business that's no better than the mainstream. Hopefully more states like Montana will take legal action to ban this dangerous spyware from this country. Citizens shouldn't be spied on by governments, or software developers.
