Yep, wealth stratification isn't going to bring the Wall-e world.
Two outcomes:
AI massively increases in price when VC funding ends and most companies who invested in it collapse or go back to offshoring to India.
AI does work long term and we automate most "bull shit" jobs, think data entry etc. This will lead to everyone but the top performers in their field being laid off or work reduced hours. Most likely we get gated communities and most of us live in slums.
