I agree to regulate AI we will need an international effort. For example, if U.S decides to regulate but China, Russia, EU refuse it will just put the regulated into a position where they are losing out. This is the same for all sides. So we must have a balanced approach where all parties can benefit and have trust in each other. The current U.S policy to deny China advance chips for AI development is going to ruin any hope such cooperation can become reality. I think for the sake of humanity's future U.S needs to regulate its racist anti-China sentiment and actually work with China on this issue.
