Perfect way to explain this, very nice, i knew i could count on this artist to give a good vid on this matter.
One thing i want to add: artists see only the negatives on generative AI, and justly so, especially when companies enter the discussion, but what about what AI could do that no human can? Machines were invented to make stuff we can't, for example, first thing that came to mind as soon It came out: "what If i design an AI to study my drawings only, to convert 3D characters for a videogame i have in mind into 90's 2D anime handdrawn pics whenever they have a dialogue?", i could give out lots more examples on stuff you can do that no human can, some of which would probably anger out of their minds the bad side of artists, but I Guess it's easier to just focus on the negatives, even though they could be temporary if people united and worked on them; why progress, when you can regress, am i right?
