Ive worked on some pretty high end tech in my life so this doesn't surprise me so a good example of how useful AI is on a practical level... Ai based resume and career coaching software, you get platforms like this to rephrase your... ideas and logically restructure your thinking, which ironically drives further creative thinking (for me anyway) that restructuring of ones thoughts helpng improve ones logic, frees the individual to use his/her creative side and feed this back into the system.... The Ai system (of servers) restructures this and this feeds more ideas etc. Imagine the output was a set of RP machines, the AI system could rationalise ideas and realise them; for instance RP items for sale, not terminator, but practical items...One could refine ideas and build them "on the fly" that is more than science fiction, this happens now. I ask my AI Software to build say.. a box of set dimensions, place a hole of any size to allow a pencil to stand inside when on a desk.... I then ask it to create a graphical overlay for four sides to suit its intended environment. I'd be very confident IT would use its data set to "figure out" im making a pencil holder and all four sides rather than the top and bottom would have a graphic overlay. Just like a designer would. Meld computational topology optimisation and AI, plus large data sets, already existing tech for production automation and occasional human intervention, you have a very powerful tool.
