I don’t think we can stop AI development. The possibility of AI replacing jobs of many people is very high. AI robots can generate wealth, and wealth can be distributed to people. Robots can grow food and manufacture products. We just need to make sure AI not used to hurt humanity, or the environment. We may just work few hours a week and do creative things and do exercises to improve our health. As long as doing something meaningful and not feeling bored, I think people will be okay. We still have a lot of work to do to restore and clean up this planet.
