AI may be taking over customer support on a general scale - but it isn´t like you cannot tell. The amount of annoying generic answers I am receiving recently has increased ten fold. Maybe I am weird, but that doesn´t make me give up on my question for information or attention - rather I will pursue it even harder, making sure the companies are held accountable and that they cannot just fob me off with a standardized reply.
AI is still not at a level where it is able to provide satisfactory customer services that goes beyond minimalistic requests - and I honestly think the companies that are replacing human customer services with (yet) poorly developed AI replies, will end up losing out, rather than gaining, from this technological revolution.
