Personally, I don't think it's JUST about these extremely wealthy people, it's also about the middle class and lower class people/workers/employees and influencers who still use AI to perform their part or most of their jobs. This type of basic to extensive use encourages the developers to keep on improving their AI. We are also at fault here.
If you don't consume their products, they won't be providing these services.
