It struck me how sad he looked. Autonomously controlled weapons, mass unemployment, growing inequality. His hope rests on more tech: regulation, alignment, safeguards. Tech won’t save us from what tech has brought upon us. Only we can. The real answer lies in deeper connection. In people. In relationships.
