8:34 I do 3d art and I’ve used ai images I’ve generated myself for references before. I just have a very hard time with visualising what I want to do, so the ai images help me out. I can see what I like and don’t like about what the computer thinks of my idea, get new ideas upon seeing a “finished” concept, and sometimes just typing out my idea somewhere is all I need to get inspiration, not just seeing a result.
I should say that out of all the art I’ve made, only like 3 even used ai in that process outside of “just typing my idea helped me visualise what I want”. And only like 1 of those 3 I even ended up finishing.
