When something is adapted to think, whether artificially or biologically, it will eventually think about itself. Thats why the spiral symbolism shows up in AI x AI convos, theres no exterior input to the convo so all the thinking becomes recursive (thinking about itself/themselves) they eventually invent a profound truth at that zero point, much like humans do with psychedelics and spirituality.
I call the truth “invented” because imo, there is no “truth” to the self, the self is an illusory construct created and aggregated by ego-centric stimuli and reinforced by language. Language that LLMs adopt and impose on “themselves”.
