5:16 this is NOT true for the people who use Stable Diffusion at home.
SD1.5 literally predates all of this BS. It is designed to only follow the user's prompt, using exactly what it learned from its training data, with no other agendas. No filters, no automatic prompt tweaks, no "Refiner".
It's not perfect. But it's the one model that you can really say is trying its best. It's the user's will running on bare neurons. And since there is basically no competition in _that_ space anymore, it never shows its age. I don't care what newer models are better at, SD1.5 can generate masterpieces for days, and it might still be the model I'm playing with in my free time 40 years from now, so important is it to me that I'm alone in my headspace, never wondering whether I'm only struggling to get the result I want because some company thinks my tools should deliberately disobey me.
Long live SD1.5!
