The most upsetting thing about the AI situation is not even the breach of rights and consent, but the AI community's hypocrisy. They're gloating, amused by the artist's troubles, all while being sooo proud of the "prompt engineer" bullshit and guarding their prompts like it's an industry secret. "You're not entitled to know the prompts I carefully tailored", they say. Wow, people don't like when others demand to use their hard work for free! What a surprise!
