We don't have to think too hard to see how misalignment, reward hacking, etc. not just may but should lead to typical issues in Sci-Fi.
If we use AI to do the coding, AI to test the code, AI to quality check, etc. when would we even know that it's wrong and how do we fix a black box tech that is necessarily black box. We can fix that which we do not see or understand.
At the present rate we will wind up with very few actual jobs for people fairly quickly and our society, thanks to Capitalism, has basically no appetite for worker less economy.
