Holy shit I'm a white dude and never heard about this since I'm not terminally online and don't use social media except youtube, twitch sometimes and Instagram to contact family/friends/artists (don't use for reels). I do like Instagram since it's shown me alot of my now favorite artists and clothing designers. I like to support smaller businesses so I've found a lot on instagram. But I don't post on it or really engage with it as far as reels/stories. Feels like a waste of my time.
But this seems like just racism but using robots as a substitute for minority communities (black/brown) and always a white person talking down to them. Like why are they using similar to real names of people who have died or face oppression to discriminate against a fictional robot.... Just projecting their own inherent racism, misogynist or bigoted views. Super weird.
I'm so glad I'm old enough to be out of the social media bubble/influencer bubble. Internet seems so fucking weird and cringe as fuck.
I'll stick to sometimes watching twitch, YouTube or long form content. I can't do reels or TikTok since it just kinda annoys me. I like learning stuff and don't get that feeling with short form content.
