When I take long trips on the interstate hwys, I visualize no trucks on the road because they are forced to only drive from 8pm to 6am so that our roads are not endangered and slowed down by heavy freight.
Truck drivers would bitch about this change and so I would say "go take this universal income check, go back to school, learn Ai, computers or farming and food growing and go make yourself indispensable to the new economy". Fire anyone who won't drive at night, give them a welfare check while they get educated to work in burgeoning industries.
Whining about computers taking your job is the same as chariot drivers bitching about those new cars taking all their business. Nobody wants to smell horse shit anymore.
