The issue is people define intelligence in a way to right off anything is not human.
If something has the ability to predict something that is a type of intelligence.
Different things in this video that was said to be something AI is doing is a sign of consciousness.
The thing is AI is doing these things differently than human intelligence.
Now someone could call this mimicking intelligence or consciousness.
Furthermore if someone does not understand how AI is doing this as the author of the Book suggests than alot of hidden factors could be involved that no one could of guessed.
These hidden factors/veribles might something entirely new.
Also if artificial intelligence is achieved this would be by an emergent property.
