I wouldn’t be surprised if we get “AI Layoffs” and the AI companies go bust because they can’t make money either. Uber, DoorDash and Co couldn’t make money during lockdown, I’m not sold on tech getting their dystopian fever dream. I’m not betting on a utopia yet, but I don’t think their flavor is going to work like they want it too. You can only discount expensive things so much and not make money before the bill comes due. Ask spirit airlines.
