Alright, opinion time. People need to get their priorities straight. We are artists. Why are we wasting time trying to make life living hell by enraging ourselves nonstop? Why does this even matter? Why are we wasting time lying about what is happening either? We could do better! I have to say that it is also a little weird that we act like the animators automatically like their jobs or something. They are there for the paycheck, in an industry where it is slightly harder to be replaced than, say, fast food. That's it. So really, the animators themselves are basically making fake art anyway. And honestly, that applies to so, so, sooooooooo many professionals. How many really care about the art? Probably no more than 70% if I am being generous, until we talk about commissions, where the numbers are likely reduced to the 20% range. Look, I like art, I make art, I like to write, and ai couldn't help me if I tried, because it has no clue what I am even talking about anyway. But this fighting thing, that is just tribalism. That's it. Your art matters because it is YOU. It matters because it is ART. Not because of some paycheck, or some conspiracy theories, none of that, otherwise we may as well get rid of digital art too because it is the new, "invasive", "shortcut" art. Gotta stop worrying about a pointless battle and accept the real win: being a real artist at all. End of rant.
