Not defending AI 'art', I do think it could be used as an assist tool, or an aid for using existing image editing tools by artists in the same way that we have all these image editing tools. I don't think it should be used to create art on its own. But first and foremost, that's just not what people are trying to use AI and train it to do. In the end we have to live in reality, and the way things are AI is just a curse on everything.
