TBH - I don't think it will come to that horror scenario ... what will be the output of that what AI will produce and who will buy it when nobody has a job/no money? What will be the reason to power on AI when there is no output needed?
There for sure will be some jobs replaced by AI - but companies need CUSTOMERS that are able to PAY the bills that are printed by AI. AI will be there to support us making decisions, finding solutions, support a driver during risky maneuvers in some fancy vehicles. AI will be supportive but as soon AI replaces humans there will be less income for companies.
