I think its even worse. labor-capital dynamic is essential to capitalism. once capital can create labor this dynamic breaks. While AI revolution have similarities with other technological revolutions, there are some fundamental differences. Previous technologies changed one types of tools into other types of tools. yes in a process you lose some specific niche jobs, but overall you preserve the need of operators of those more efficiant tools. AIs goal is to replace operators, not tools. Tools is capital , operators is labor. Once capital can create their own labor they no longer need it from human beings, the wider society( it doesnt even have to be everyone, just a certain treshold ).. Another issue is hat I feel as humanity we kinda reached the cealing on how much we can improve our lives through consumption ( and no creating more AI generated digital goods and services does not solve the issue )...
