I do almost all my shopping walking, I bike to work, and I *always* travel for work by train all over Europe even if it means 15 hours just to go one way. And my wife at 56 years old does not even have a driving licence, she never needed to learn to drive. And we have 3 children, all using public transportation to go to school and University. *But* we have a car, because sometime it is far far more convenient. For example to go in less dense areas, or to travel since a trip in our Tesla model 3 costs way less than 5 train tickers. So of course there is a place for robotaxis, even for people who do not live in a car-centric city and country, in my case Lyon, France. If robotaxis are available in the near future, I am quite sure my children will have no desire to own a car, to save time, stress and money.
