When decision makers decided to outsource manufacturing plant, then outsourced back office positions, now with AI; once done, there is no going back. Somehow we have been promoting resources back but unfortunately not happening. Universal income won’t work, 32 hours work week won’t work, unless other global companies equally have universal income, we are in disadvantageous if we are the only country implementing universal income. Which CEO implemented AI to save cost will be so thrill to subsidize universal income? If they can’t compete globally, they will not be there to subsidize the universal income.
