I've been trying to get into the industry for the past 10 years. It has not gone well. And then this AI garbage comes along.
One of my coworkers came into the lunchroom, saw me sketching at my table, and immediately started mocking me because 'there's no point trying to get a job in art because you've been replaced by a machine'. Mind you, this guy harasses me pretty regularly for a number of reasons (my religion, my interests, etc), but coming at me over my art was just another low blow. Heck, it's not helped by the fact some studios have already begun using AI generated images, this stuff needs to be removed. It can be a fun tool, sure, but it should never be used in the industry.
