My ex from 20 years ago, she had been banned from every convention a 12-hour drive from Jacksonville because of her own grift. She makes, what I would consider, crayon drawings of copyrighted characters like Mario, Link, Cloud, Tifa, but because SHE digitally made them, she calls them original characters and sells them as original characters even though she puts a big TIFA or CLOUD of MARIO on them and it's obviously her really awful attempt at making the art. She imagines printouts of these, I'm talking 8.5x11, to be worth 40 dollars per print. She's been cease and desisted by Nintendo and other companies many times for selling these same things online. Only her ex-boyfriends ever bought them or watched her stream but she talks like she's selling millions of these things. ANYWAY, she's been now doing the AI stuff and calling it ORIGINAL ART CONCEPTS that she MADE all on her own through AI as if no one could tell the difference. That's actually not why she got banned from every single convention, only the most recent ban. She got banned from everywhere else for 3 reasons, each reason happening at each and every single convention. 1. She blamed the venue and the convention itself for why her art does not sell. 2. She blames the other vendors around the vendor room for why no one buys her items because everyone else "undercuts" the prices of her priceless crayon drawing printouts. The worst one, 3. When a young boy or girl would come near her booth, she would stand far too close behind them and let the heft of her chest warm and spread across the shoulders or the back of the head of a CHILD to convince them to get their parents to buy one of her art pieces and she's lucky she hadn't become a registered ankle monitor wearing person. She would also go to these events wearing what was a modest low-front top but she would lean over tables letting those things on her chest pour across the table before boys under 15. I don't know if you can still find the article of police escorting her out of a convention in Jacksonville because she did it to a boy of ten right in front of his parents. I don't think she was doing that stuff to young boys because she wanted to make a buck, and the people at the conventions quickly realize that about her and have her escorted out before the first day of the convention is even halfway over. I knew she was like this but I didn't think she would be like this in public. Yeah, women can be a PDF. I broke up with her 20 years ago because she liked the character in Card Captor Sakura WAAAAAAYYYYY too much, not the main character, but the best friend with the long hair. I thought, 'oh, she just likes the anime cause it's cute and has an interesting story, I guess, I never watched it, whatever. I like One Piece, she likes CCS.' and then 4 weeks into our relationship and me just thinking she's a passionate otaku, I come over to her place after classes and, 'oh, that's a 3x6 poster on the wall of that 10-year-old character from CCS, aged 10, in my girlfriend's bedroom on the ceiling ABOVE THE BED, inappropriately posed and without attire. I hit the brakes on that relationship and jumped ship the second I saw that, enduring the rumor spreading mill that comes out of her. ANYWAY, it was fun reading the public back and forth between the people who run those conventions and this woman even after all of these years. They would argue on the convention's own reddit or some other message board run by the owners of the convention and there would be 30+ comments from witnesses of her and any altercations. I don't even want to imagine the 'art' she would try and sell that is outright pdf content. I know she's got a strong enough ego to create and bring such things out in public since she was so proud to flaunt it in her home, in her bedroom, where she liked to keep the curtains wide open, yes, in her bedroom, while I was there, first floor of the home, full view to all of the neighbors. Ugh. I don't know why I dated her, oh, that chest and anime nerd side... right. I don't think she goes to conventions anymore since she's been blacklisted in 3 states and has a no-trespass with most hotels and venues and I'm still shocked her gifting efforts hasn't somehow landed her in jail, what with the whole mickey-mousing boys in public.
