There isn't an alternative.
1. Are you suggesting a "DEI" approach to try and guarantee corporations have Human representation in the workforce along with Robots? That will lose 100%. Even if you had so called UN collective agreements from other countries, those other countries would lie because the Robot workforce will be much more productive and lower maintenance.
2. Are you suggesting laws to prohibit autonomous driving vehicles? I for certain thought you'd be among the chorus of people that would preach about the 10's of thousands of lives each year that are saved because self-driving cars will be orders of magnitude safer than human drivers. Driving fatalities after all cause more deaths in the US by far than gun deaths. Self Driving Cars will reduce this number to near 0. It's my expectation that the left will in fact support laws prohibiting humans from driving.
3. You are intentionally omitting what Elon and others have said about a serious consideration of "Universal Basic/High Income". This warrants genuine consideration. Socialism Bernie does not work because we are Humans and part of the animal kingdom. It's in our DNA to compete. Robots do not have the human competitive drive. They simply do their work at the highest capacity their hardware and software allows. I am a Capitalist when it comes to Humans and very much so. Not with A.I. If A.I can and likely will be able to do every Human job at a much higher degree of production and quality than Humans then some form of supplemented income based on the productive capacity of A.I. is worth considering. And that is what Elon, Gates, Zuckerberg and others are suggesting. They are creating the Robotic infrastructure now that may potentially end the idea of required labor in my lifetime. In other words, no one will have a sense of being required to work and earn a good living. These guys are doing this without your input.
4. Your "Ideas" at the close of your video are old, unimaginative, and largely the same garbage you've peddled for decades. A.I. and Robotics will make your ideas obsolete. It's even counterintuitive to what you quoted Bill Gates as saying. Why would you try to mandate a 32-hour work week when Gates and Musk are saying that work will become optional? You are in fact advocating for forced labor because of course you would. Why do you want to mandate corporations have 45% employee stakes when they are saying we should consider Universal Basic Income? Because an employee stake of almost half of the company would obviously slow A.I. adoption in those companies because of everything you're saying about estimated job losses. Mandating a "Robot Tax" (good grief another tax) would obviously slow A.I. adoption in companies if the R.O.I. determines it's not financially worth implementing more A.I. systems.
