The way I put it, the problem isn't AI taking our jobs, the problem is we view AI taking our jobs as bad. It is bad because of both our economic system and culture. Jobs are more than a way to survive, they are status. We look down on those who lack steady work, and look down even more on those who cannot work. Americans atleast cannot envision a system where work itself is obsolete, that success requires employment. Likely this is why billionaires have "jobs" only as far as a title on a business card.
