I think, in terms of quality, AI art is what you put into it.
I like the idea of someone using AI to generate a concept to be shown to a commissioned artist, or maybe to form a physical representation of their ideas when trying to pitch projects. The idea here is that the concept would then be built from the ground up by artists and such. No need to have any AI in the final product, I think.
