I worked extensively on ALL Rio Tinto sites in Western Australia. Autonomous trucks have been in operation for 15 years or so. They are definitely NOT SAE Level5. They all have driver controls, and all require a driver to refuel, go in for service, or otherwise leave a restricted area of the mine. That makes then level4.
