There this little thing called *practice*, because nobody starts out amazing at something, so people who enjoy doing any kind of activity, instead of wallowing in self pity saying they were born with the ability to create, work to better themselves. Anybody who genuinely enjoys making things, or any sort of hobby or activity at all, will tell you that seeing the work you've put into it to get the result is one of the biggest and most gratifying parts of what makes it so enjoyable. Not only that, but for many people, the process of doing these thing is enjoyable, although some people dont like the process, they still admire the end product, and if they dont, they try again in order to make something they like. AI just doesn't seem to be anywhere near as enjoyable. It removes the process, the struggles, the reworks, and the passion. Whilst people who use AI can say that they admire the things made by their prompts, thats all they are, prompts. Using an AI software doesn't give you the same gratification of making something yourself, even if it's bad. Nobody who uses AI can say they enjoy their process of making art, they enjoy the product and the lack of work they had to put into it. Ive been told that AI art is to digital art as digital art is to traditional by somebody, their reasoning being that all AI is just a tool to make thing easier. This isnt right, digital art still requires effort, it needs a real person who has practiced and wants to makes something. Art may not need meaning, but it does need passion, AI can have all the symbolism it wants, but without somebody behind the piece, that meaning doesn't matter, its just something churned out by a machine, taking from outside sources to fuel itself. And to AI users in this comment section, anybody can draw a picture, anybody can write a book, any ody can score music, anybody can be good at sports, anybody can improve. All it takes is a little effort, some passion, and the self discipline to keep going, even when you aren't perfect the first time.
