Is funny that people that have no idea what an autopilot system is think that the name "Autopilot" implies that is a fully autonomous system or similar...
That name has been used in aircraft and naval systems for decades and Captains and Officers are still held accountable for the actions of the system because they have to still monitor it constantly and be aware of the sorroundings.
And is also funny to find a system as complete as Teslas Autopilot to be unsafe or unsuitable but yet there are lane assist systems on the market that will disengage without warning or notice at full speed...
