I think the emotional element of many of these jobs will make AI working in them to be essentially a fad, like oh wow! You said I can have my hair styled by a robot? Cool, and you do it twice before you're freaked out by being stuck sitting silently having razors flicked around your head for 20 minutes.
Or for teachers? Really?! I don't doubt that AI could teach but I do doubt it could provide any level of satisfactory mentorship, now I was homeschooled so my only experience with teachers were my mom, other moms in my community, and Khan academy, so I don't have an industry standard view of schooling. But I still think having a robot teach kids would be ineffective.
Not to mention the direct and objective emotional aspect of things like childcare and nursing. I don't want a robot raising my kid and I don't think AI can produce a good bedside manner.
