As far as open source software goes (depending on the licensing that Stable diffusion is using) it is likely fine for Lensa to use the code and make money from it. They have created their own code and an app with its own features to set it apart from Stable diffusion. One of the big things, is that they have to include credit to the original project and things like that. A good example of this is Chromium. Chromium is an open source project that anyone is allowed to use and create a web browser with. Google created Chrome Browser with this backbone, but the chromium project allows the creation of other browsers, like the current Microsoft Edge, Opera, Samsung Internet, and even the Amazon Fire browser. You can't make an exact copy of Chrome, but you can create a new project based on that chromium base, and it becomes it's own thing.
