Waitaminute...you were brilliant enough to conceptualise it but not brilliant enough to carefully weigh all the risks associated with it and not brilliant enough to develop olutions or at least have a plan to deal with those risks? Technically, you were "half" brilliant, then? You needed to complement your advance scientific knowledge with advance self regulation. Clearly this shows that having brilliant scientific skills does not automatically mean that you have brilliant problem solving solving skills. It may mean that you have excellent problem making skills.
