If his ai art didn’t have some level of creativity or effort to it, it wouldn’t have won the art competition. If you held an ai art contest, there would be a ranking, meaning the relative quality of the art could be graded.
It’s not fair to enter ai art into an art competition, if the other artists don’t think they can use ai, but it’s also not fair to say that this person has not made something unique
