There's a difference between saving time and doing next to nothing. This would be a much different conversation if AI was being used to... I don't know... Generate a bunch of drag-and-drop eyes or something.
Writing is my main medium of art, so I don't really know how this works. I could ask my BF who does digital art when he wakes up, though.
I guess a good analog with writing would be it generating character names or descriptions for rooms. As opposed to writing the entire thing.
