Art is Art and sometimes the tools we use to make it change. I stopped painting on cave walls a while ago, don't shoot on film anymore, or record music on tape. I have the most intense art Tool (key word is "Tool") Called Midjourney that I collaborate on with art all the time and will be using for the rest of my life. If you are given such a tool it would be crazy not to use it. Respectfully. Personally as a well known abstract painter ( google world class abstract art) . I'm pretty psyched people could use my art to study, as a reference to their own inspired work, and could keep being made in my own style long after my "dead artists art sells for huge money" crap." happens. I do not use other artist work as a reference as a personal choice ( don't need to) but if I did it would be as inspiration or parody, and any piece like that would not be for sale from me. Ben a fan of digital art since day one... took a lot of crap for that too (it's not real art etc). I love it, If you're horrified I'd say sorry, it's only going to get more intense, and it's time to embrace your horror and keep working with whatever tools you like.
