AI as it is now is extremely underutilized, but they are too ambitious and want AI to do things beyond its current capabilities. By saying it is underutilized I mean it's not being used for smaller and simpler niche tasks that it's very good at RIGHT NOW. Though I agree it's a lot of hype and CEO's trying to use AI for tasks that it simply isn't ready for.
