my thoughts on AI art is that artists won't want to put their art into the machine because they won't get paid for it. So then eventually the AI art will all start looking the same. There won't be anything fresh or new about it. I think to some degree AI art could be a useful tool for artists. Just to get a basic concept down. But I certainly wouldn't want to use the generated image as the art itself, just more like an inspiration.
