As a student in healthcare who has started using "Open Evidence" (AI that can reliably provide accurate medical literature searches), I have had to force myself to stop using it so much because I discovered that this exact thing was happening to me. It is ok for a seasoned physician to use a resource like this because they have already learned much of the info and thoughts that open evidence provides. But as a student, it is dangerous to ask it to "build a diagnosis" or "recall the symptoms and treatment of x" because it inhibits my learning. It has the potential to cut out the critical learning step.
