I've heard (because I'm not a programmer) that programming is very creative and analytical task. You need to dissect the problem into manageable chunks and figure out how to program then in. I'm enjoying Decino's (AKA the Pumpkin Man) deep dives into 1998 Doom engine. Some tricks they use are insane.
I've also noticed something in my backyard-3d printing and design. When you create an object in Blender for example, it's strongly suggested to use quad typology (each polygon has 4 edges and vertices). This way you can easily add divides along the whole object. AI generated models are a horrible mess-they may be printable, but come with a lot of unnecessary holes (for example-on the underside of the figurine that nobody is looking at, but it adds print time) and modifying then is also extremely hard (unless you want to sculpt, but that's a different barrel of fish), mostly due to the fact that they use triangles (standard in rendering/printing) and have no sense of "futureprufing" the design
