Chatgpt writing is legitimately awful. It's trained on uncopyrighted material from the internet. So fan fiction and deviant art and social media. All the popular and influential work release over the last 100 years is protected by law. But we all know that they are most definitely using copyrighted material to train their ai. Ai would be worthless without it.
